The Importance of Flossing

The Importance of Flossing
Flossing is an essential part of oral hygiene that many people overlook. It helps remove food particles and plaque from between teeth where a toothbrush can't reach. Regular flossing can significantly reduce the risk of gum disease and cavities.
How to Floss Properly
Use about 18 inches of dental floss, wrapping it around your fingers. Gently slide it between your teeth, curving it around each tooth in a C-shape. Be careful not to snap the floss, as this can damage your gums.
